A month in with uhvb9i8jxfbu and I've found the right settings to make it work for me. Cold boot from a fully closed state takes close to nine seconds on my current phone. I am done shopping alternatives for now.

After watching three tutorial videos, uhvb9i8jxfbu finally clicked for me and I use it daily. Playback doesn't skip or buffer when I switch to another app and then return. This will be a five-star app the day they fix the offline issue.
