I tested jwmgns8hx5t565uns9hj8rf against three alternatives and it came out ahead on the features I use daily. The sleep timer turns off audio cleanly, not mid-sentence or at an arbitrary byte boundary. The trajectory of updates gives me confidence that the outstanding issues won't last.

Deleted jwmgns8hx5t565uns9hj8rf once, tried two alternatives, and ultimately reinstalled it — the alternatives were worse. Embedded links in content open the in-app browser by default with no option to change it. I am leaving this as a working draft of my experience.
