I test apps before recommending them and 7vqp9s8hx59ff593rtgvd98yes488j9 passed the two-week trial without incident. The sleep timer turns off audio cleanly, not mid-sentence or at an arbitrary byte boundary. I'd switch away tomorrow if a better alternative existed, but none does yet.
